About Us 

We breed and raise all kinds of tropical fish, but bettas are our main focus.  It is our goal to provide quality bloodlines with proven lineage to the betta community.  We have been breeding bettas on and off for the last 10 years or so and just recently got back into serious breeding.  We have kept all sorts of variations over the years, but keep returning to the halfmoons.  There is just something about these regal fish that continues to capture the imagination and we have focused most of our breeding program on them, although we often have a plakat or two hanging around to scale down oversized tails.  Much of our stock is imported from places like Thailand, and we try to outcross often to increase the genetic diversity of our fish.  

All our fish are bred and raised in our home in dechlorinated, aged tap water, as we are firm believers that fiddling around too much with water chemistry is just asking for trouble.  We refrain from using medications on our fish whenever possible, as we feel that overall it is detrimental to the health and quality of our fish. All fish are fed and raised on live and specially selected frozen foods, but most of the fish that are offered for sale have been conditioned to eat dry foods as well.

           Currently we have a few lines under development including solids, metallics, and various butterflies, in delta, super-delta, and of course halfmoons.
